Question by dani_bruce: What drugs can you do and they dont show up on a rehab drug screen?
My step mom was supposed to be recovering from drug use. Now we think she is still doing them, she is in rehab and is passing the test but she is acting as if she is doing something we have found sand like crystals in the toliet. We don’t understand how in the world she is passing these test and we want to help her but if we can’t figure out what she is doing we will never know. Thanks for any help!!

Answer by rope14u
there is stuff being sold that you can pour in your sample that will give you a negative result. X is the only drug that you can take that does not show up in a regular u.a. X is a test of its own even then it will only show up within the last 10 hour after you have taking it. if you take x and wait longer than 10 hours to take a test you will show a negative.you may request a u.a. for x but it is very expensive

Question by Daniela M: Are there places where they give group tours of the facilities dealing with drug rehab in Dallas, Tx?
I am in a group dealing with psychology and we want to take some tours of places such as drug rehab facility or another facility of that sort and possibly get to talk with the patients. .ie sex rehab, eating disorders, mental illness, etc. Any help would be great.

Best answer:

Answer by Master Buz Lawson
I cannot even pretend to speak for these facilities, though I think you may run into a brick wall, here. Because of the nature of the function these facilities serve and the privacy issues involved, I doubt seriously that a ‘field trip tour’ will be granted. You can call such facilities in your area and ask, and I’ll just about guarantee that they will opt for sending someone with brochure-type information to your location to speak of their facility and it’s function/methods. No such facility will allow you mass contact with patients. Their patients are there being treated for a disorder, and thier focus on their rehabilitation is vital to the success of the program.

You might consider asking these facilities if they can recommend a graduate of thier program to lecture your class, but I truly believe that what you are asking is more than any reputable treatment facility is likely to consider appropriate.

HAVE FULL RIGHTS TO THIS SHOW..IF YOU ARE ABLE TO FIND THE DVD I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT…THIS SHOW SHOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER RECEIVED. Day Break was a show that began airing on the ABC Television Network in late 2006. Taye Diggs starred as Brett Hopper a cop framed for murder. Hopper is faced with a repeating day scenario where he can alter events to clear his name and protect his girlfriend Rita (Moon Bloodgood), save a stranger , help a confidant or his police partner…all while trying to avoiding arrest. This series aired the first 6 episodes then ABC pulled it off the air due to ratings decline…however they did show the remaining episodes on their web site. The only season had a satisfying conclusion. In 2008, the network TV One then re-aired the series with the 7 remaining episodes that did not make it on ABC. A DVD set was released in 2008 which was then followed by a re-release in 2009.

Question by I’m gonna start another riot: Illegal alien rape suspect has been deported nine times how do they keep making it back across?
I recently reported on the arrest of Mexican national Jose Lopez Madrigal in Edmonds, Washington for rape. Early reports indicated that he had been previously deported four times.

However, through confidential law enforcement sources and government documents, the investigative news team at KING 5 in Seattle has discovered that Madrigal has actually been deported back to Mexico a total of nine times.

On the evening of May 16, a police officer responding to a woman’s cries for help, caught Madrigal, 46, on top of a woman, raping her. Madrigal had forced the woman into the bushes behind a Safeway in Edmonds, Washington.

According to the arrest affidavit, Madrigal approached the woman, offering her for sex. When she said no, the illegal alien dragged her behind the store and raped her.

The 28-year-old rape victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Madrigal reportedly told police: “Sometimes we have control in our brains, but we make mistakes.”

Madrigal has been charged with rape, and is also being held on an Immigration and Customs Enforcement detainer. Police report that the illegal alien has a total of 35 different aliases.

Due to his numerous aliases, police had to rely on fingerprint records to identify Madrigal.

Madrigal has a lengthy crimial record in this country, dating back to 1989, when he was convicted of theft with a firearm in California. After that, he was deported twice, before his next arrest on this side of the border.

In 1999, he was arrested for drug distribution in San Diego and San Francisco. He was deported three times that year alone, between April and August.

In 2000, Madrigal was arrested again for drug distribution in Stockton, Ca.

In 2002, he pleaded guilty to sexual assault in Denver, and deported again.

In 2003, he was deported three more times.

http://www.examiner.com/immigration-reform-in-national/update-illegal-alien-rape-suspect-has-been-deported-nine-times

How come they never put him away for like 20 years ?

Best answer:

Answer by Jane Doe
Because our border and immigration laws are broken and have been for many many decades. We could pay to have this scum sit in our prisons for decades or send him back to his home country and let them deal with him. They usually choose to deport them. But our border is so porous that they just walk back in.So they wait till they murder a American citizen or rape somebody, then put them in prison. But then the American tax payer must pay thousands of dollars to incarcerate these people. So it is lose lose for the American citizen.

Question by Michelle: What happens when a patient tells their counselor they did something illegal, like having used illicit drugs?
Do counselors or other mental health professionals have to keep EVERYTHING you say confidential? Are their exceptions to this? Assuming the patient is an adult and the focus of their mental health treatment is not drug related. Could their counselor/Psychiatrist/etc report them to the police? Testify in court? Would this be recorded in their medical record? If they are currently being prescribed potentially addictive medications and admitted to occasional use of street drugs would they be forced to stop taking these medications? Thanks!

**update* * I understand the legal part better but is this bad to have on my medical records. If everything is supposed to be kept confidential, but when seeing a new Dr. they make me sign that release to see prior treatment information from other drs. I understand concerns about coordination of care and interactions, etc. My new Dr. refused to fill 2 of my (potentially addictive) meds. She quoted my medical record, my ex told (incorrect) info to a previous Dr. Help!

Answer by Ben
Wow that’s some good paranoia. The counselor is there to help, not play crime fighter plus the “crimes” committed with drug use are too non specific. Its the same reason that cops need to have drug busts with lots of evidence. Was it weed?

You can try an intervention, but if they don’t want help you can’t make them. I know it can be heartbreaking but sometimes people just have to hit a rockbottom point before they want help. Good Luck with everything.
