Confidential Drug Rehabilitation

Question by jenniferchildofjesus: I am wondering where i can go for confidential drug addiction help with a oxycontin problem in my family.?
I hate to give any information that might cause shame on my family. We are very well known and I would like to keep this “under wraps” yet I feel the need to ask for help. Thanks for this anonymous method i can safely ask, but I need to know that the confidentiality will be present during the alcohol and drug treatment in des moines, ia. please help!

find a private rehab Dr that does that sort of covert thing….you may have to go out of town. you really don’t give much info…the dr that writes the scripts should help..there’s tons of places doing quiet rehabs…of course you need to do more than talk about it. And keep in mind that getting off oxycontin takes at least 3 times longer and is harder physically than heroin.

I started having panic attacks a year ago (first week back at 2nd semester freshman year) and I was put on ativan(to stop my panic attacks) and celexa (which made it worse) then switched to zoloft maybe it helped maybe not. I don’t really know because I started taking mass amounts of oxycontin everyday which seemed to mask alot of my symptoms some of the time and other times it made me crazy…especially with the withdrawls. I have been mostly sober for about a month( i used a few times since then. nothing crazy. In the last month I have seen a therapist for my mental stuff, a counsler for my drug stuff, and a psychiatrist for medication for my mental stuff. I am now on 150mg zoloft, 900 mg neurontin, 50 mg serequel, and 1 mg ativan as needed with my panic attacks. So far I can’t tell if it’s working just makes me kinda tired, Just wondering if anyone has had sucess with this drug combo or similar to it. Or what combo worked for you. Any suggestions how to deal with my panic attacks without meds?
Just curious I know everyone responds to medication differently.

we had him in rehab but he comes right out and gets back on them, he say’s he wants to get help but nothing we do helps. has anyone else used this drug that could give me some insight on why it’s so hard to get off of? i’m afraid i will bury my son before his next birthday. i had him arrested at one point just so i would know he would be alive for a few more days. is there any safe way for me to do this at home without having to send him off again.
please help
