Question by Pocket Protecktor: Survey: A girl I know just tested positive for drug use when she was applying for a job…?
…so her question is…does that result end up on some kind of permanent record that other employers could access? Or is that information confidential between her and the company she was applying for…?

Its between her and the company. They can’t just go showing it to anyone. That’s illegal.

No, it’s confidential. But some companies will restrict you from reapplying for employment before a certain time frame passes, like 6 months or a year, after failing a urine screen.

In my personal and humble opinion, it should not matter since obviously she only wants the job for the UGG boot discount. Explain to her that at some stores, they still have such discounts well into the east coast summer when one fully well knows that Dr. Scholls would not come near his own product sprayed inside what she will drag on the beach long after the dead fish have resucitated themselves to flipper themselves back to the ocean to die a respectable death away from them pups. What was the question?
