I realize this question may sound vague, but my ex lives in another state, doesn’t pay child support (I’m working on enforcement with the state now) and has admitted himself into rehab without warning. I would like to formally request a judge to make some sort of changes to the possession order as the noncustodial parent has expressed he will not be moving back to Texas. I would possible even like to request supervised visits. Does anyone know of any cases out there that I can review for similiar circumstances?
I completely understand how separate the issue of visitation and child support are. Any time the noncustodial parent wants to see his kids he does. Even when I am suppose to leave on Christmas evening to drive to the half way point which is 500 miles and he calls Christmas morning and lies about a car accident and can’t make it, I still understand the difference and abide by my court order. I do my part, trust me and I am tired of being taken advantage of; that’s what this is about…
And I have 43 pages of documentation from the past 5 years.
