Question by dara a: If a person will be admitted into a drug rehab, how long will he have to stay there?
My sister will be going into an inpatient drug rehab to get treatment for her drug addiction. I’ll really miss her. How long does the treatment take anyway?

How long the treatment will take will depend upon the needs of your sister. It will also depend on how long she’s been taking the drug and how bad the effects have been on her. She has to respond to treatment positively to get out of rehab sooner. It usually takes months, or even years. I hope your sister gets well the soonest possible time, though.

It varies. Could be 1 month. Could be 6 months. Could be longer – it depends on the rules/program of the specific place and also on how your sister incorporates what they try to teach her.

why don’t you call or email the place and ask when you will be able to visit her?????
