Day Break was a show that began airing on the ABC Television Network in late 2006. Taye Diggs starred as Brett Hopper a cop framed for murder. Hopper is faced with a repeating day scenario where he can alter events to clear his name and protect his girlfriend Rita (Moon Bloodgood), save a stranger , help a confidant or his police partner…all while trying to avoiding arrest. This series aired the first 6 episodes then ABC pulled it off the air due to ratings decline…however they did show the remaining episodes on their web site. The only season had a satisfying conclusion. In 2008, the network TV One then re-aired the series with the 7 remaining episodes that did not make it on ABC. A DVD set was released in 2008 which was then followed by a re-release in 2009.
